Makes sleeping very nice

I bought a queen size Beyong Down gel fiber mattress pad and I must say, the first night I got into bed, it was a decided difference from sleeping just on a regular mattress pad. It was billowy and dreamy, much like I always thought getting into bed should feel like.

Huge difference from sleeping on just a mattress itself. Makes an extra firm very comfortable and still has the support I need for a bad back. Highly recommend this product.

very cushioning but uneven

the filling in this is very soft, the material is very soft and feels like quality but the padding is uneven. Why would they make the sides more padded than the center? This is the only thing I dislike about this pad, I would idelaly like the padding to be even the whole way across.

I got this pad at a very good price (about $40.00) thus i really can't complain. However, the pad is not nearly as soft and comfortable as the description would lead you to believe. Certainly better than the avg. cotton mattress pad but do not expect to notice a tremendous difference.

don't try to wash this..

Yes, this product is wonderful UNTIL you wash it. I washed and partially dried this in my heavy-duty, front-loading machines on gentle cycle, and still the stuffing shifted from pocket to pocket, leaving the mattress pad with big lumps in some pockets and no stuffing whatsoever in other pockets. I returned the two I had in Atlanta. I have several more which have not yet been washed at my summer home. We'll see what happens. I am not able to change the star rating or I certainly would. Disappointing.

Not worth the price

I had high hopes for this mattress pad. It started out wonderful, but after a short time, the material traveled into the other squares. This left the sections directly under where we sleep without any stuffing, and all around us padded nicely with the comfy gel insides. We've tried throwing it in the dryer on the air setting with tennis balls to "punch" it around, but it hasn't really helped. I wouldn't have purchased this mattress pad if I had known about these results. I think the next time we purchase something like this, we'll try a memory foam mattress pad, of which we've heard much better reviews.

Mattress pad creates new sleeping experiencve

My husband and I searched for a high quality affordable Cal-king mattress pad with sturdy mattress coverage in addition to comfort. We found it with this pad. The gel fiber fill gives our bed a whole new dimension of comfort as well as warmth for some of these cold winter nights. I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

I love this mattress pad, This is my second one! I got one for my bed last year and this is for the guest room. There is nothing like having babysitters want to sleep over because the bed is so comfy. If you like a feather bed this is one step better, not to fluffy, super soft and you don't have to plump it back up. Oh yeah you don't get to hot either. I would recommend this pad to everyone...

Made my girlfriend's uncomfotable bed comfortable

This mattress pad made my girlfriend's uncomfortable bed feel a lot better. I can sleep there now without my back hurting in the morning now. It was relatively inexpensive and still feels good (i bought it about a month or two ago). It doesn't trap heat like some memory foam (a good thing), and is really soft and comfortable. The only thing that I don't understand is the use of the word "gel" in the item. There doesn't appear to be any gel in it. It feels like some sort of synthetic down, not gel. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It's still a really nice mattress pad though.
